19. Date Night

Author's POV

Ishqi woke up in the morning. She saw Ratan sleeping on the sofa. She looked around looking for her Patidev.

" Ratan, Ratan." said Ishqi. Ratan opened her eyes and then looked at her. " Oh sorry Choti Thakurain, I slept. " she said while coming there to her.

Ishqi nodded. " Nothing, don't worry. It is okay. Sleep is also important. Where is Abhimaan?" asked Ishqi, " Thakur Sahab is downstairs. " said Ratan, " Okay. get my clothes ready. I will come from the washroom" she said and then went to the washroom.

Ishqi then took a bath and then came out of the washroom. Ratan had kept a pink indian chikankari kurti with jeans.

Ishqi dressed quickly, slipping into the pink Indian chikankari kurti and jeans that Ratan had laid out for her. As she smoothed down her outfit, her mind drifted back to the events of the previous night, sending a shiver down her spine.

Descending the stairs, Ishqi found Abhimaan in the living room, his expression tense as he conversed with Maanveer. Relief flooded her as she approached them, grateful for the presence of her husband and his brother-in-law.

"Good morning, Jaan," Abhimaan greeted her softly, his eyes searching hers for any sign of distress. "How are you feeling today? After... after what happened last night."

Ishqi forced a small smile, though the memories of Uday's vile actions still lingered fresh in her mind. "I'm okay, Abhimaan," she replied, her voice barely above a whisper. "Just a little shaken."

Abhimaan's features softened with concern as he reached out to gently grasp her hand. "I'm so sorry, Ishqi," he murmured, his voice heavy with guilt. "I should have been there to protect you."

Ishqi squeezed his hand reassuringly, shaking her head. "It's not your fault, Abhimaan. You couldn't have known what he would do," she said, her voice filled with understanding.

When suddenly Ishqi saw some men helping Uday in coming out of the basement. Ishqi qas shocked to see them. " What is happening?" asked Ishqi, " I did this. " said Abhimaan. Ishqi looked at Abhimaan in shock.

Ishqi's eyes widened in disbelief as she watched the scene unfolding before her. She could hardly comprehend what Abhimaan had just revealed.

"What do you mean, Abhimaan?" she asked, her voice trembling with a mixture of shock and confusion.

Abhimaan took a deep breath, his expression grave as he met Ishqi's gaze. "I couldn't let him get away with what he did to you, Ishqi," he explained, his voice tinged with determination. "He needed to face the consequences of his actions."

Ishqi's heart swelled with a mixture of emotions as she looked at her husband. Despite the turmoil of the situation, she couldn't help but feel a sense of pride in Abhimaan's unwavering resolve to stand up for her.

Aradhya came to Ishqi. She kept her hand on her shoulder. " Ishqi, I hope that you are fine. " said Aradhya. Ishqi looked at her and smiled. " Maa, I am absolutely fine. Please don't be worried." said Ishqi.

Ishqi hugged Aradhya. Aradhya held Ishqi's hand. " Ishqi, it is time for removing your choora also. Let's go the ceremony today only. " said Aradhya. Ishqi nodded. Aradhya looked at Ratan. " Ratan, get the milk bowl." Aradhya said.

Ratan went to the kitchen. Ishqi sat down on the sofa. Yashika sat along with her. Because the bridal choora is removed by the husband's sister only. She slowly started to remove the choora.

Yashika removed all but left 2 bangles in there. Yashika then cleaned those in the milk. Then she cleaned them and then packed it inside a box. She gave the box to Ishqi. Ishqi wanted to keep those bangles her whole life.

Ishqi smiled and then took that box from her. Meanwhile, Abhimaan approached Aradhya with a smile, his eyes twinkling with mischief. "Maa, I have a surprise planned for Ishqi," he announced, his voice filled with excitement.

Aradhya's eyes lit up with curiosity as she turned to Abhimaan. "What is it, Abhimaan?" she asked, a playful smile tugging at the corners of her lips.

Abhimaan grinned, unable to contain his excitement. "I'm planning a romantic date for Ishqi and me," he said, his voice tinged with anticipation. "And after that, I want to take her to Banaras to meet Aasma and Ishqi's father."

Aradhya's eyes widened in surprise, her heart swelling with happiness at Abhimaan's thoughtful gesture. "That sounds wonderful, Abhimaan," she exclaimed, her voice filled with delight. "I'm sure Ishqi will be thrilled!"

Ishqi looked at Abhimaan with a mixture of surprise and joy, her heart fluttering with excitement at the prospect of spending quality time with her husband and visiting her loved ones in Banaras.

"Thank you, Abhimaan," she said softly, her eyes shining with love. "I can't wait for our date and to meet Aasma and Papa."

At night, Ishqi was getting ready for the date that Abhimaan had planned for her. She wore a light yellow saree with pearl necklace and a watch.

As Ishqi adorned herself in the delicate folds of her light yellow saree, a sense of anticipation tingled in the air. The pearls of her necklace danced delicately against her neckline, catching the soft glow of the evening light filtering through the window. Her watch, a timeless accessory, adorned her wrist, a symbol of the precious moments yet to unfold on this enchanting evening.

Stepping into her heels with a graceful elegance, Ishqi felt a surge of excitement coursing through her veins. Tonight was not just any ordinary night; it was a celebration of love, a testament to the unwavering bond between her and Abhimaan.

As she descended the stairs, her heart fluttered with anticipation, each step bringing her closer to the promise of a magical evening. Abhimaan awaited her at the bottom, his eyes aglow with affection as he beheld his radiant wife.

"Wow, Ishqi, you look absolutely stunning," Abhimaan breathed, his voice filled with admiration as he took in her ethereal beauty. "You take my breath away, Jaan."

Ishqi blushed at his heartfelt words, her cheeks flushed with a rosy hue. "Thank you, Abhimaan," she murmured, her voice soft with gratitude. "You always know how to make me feel special."

With a tender smile, Abhimaan offered his arm to Ishqi, their fingers intertwining in a silent promise of love and companionship. Together, they stepped out into the night, the world around them bathed in the warm glow of moonlight.

Their destination awaited them—a secluded garden, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city, a haven of tranquility and romance. The gentle rustle of leaves greeted them as they entered, the fragrance of blooming flowers filling the air with a sweet perfume.

A soft melody played in the background, the music of their love weaving through the night like a symphony of passion and longing. Abhimaan led Ishqi to a beautifully adorned table, set with flickering candles and exquisite floral arrangements.

Seated beneath the starlit sky, they savored the delicious delicacies laid out before them, each bite a testament to the richness of their love. They laughed and talked, their voices mingling in the air like a melody of happiness and joy.

As the night wore on, Abhimaan took Ishqi's hand in his, his gaze tender and filled with love. "Ishqi, tonight is a celebration of us," he whispered, his voice a gentle caress against her ear. "Of our love, our bond, and everything that makes us who we are."

Ishqi's heart swelled with emotion, her eyes shimmering with tears of joy. "I love you, Abhimaan," she whispered, her voice choked with emotion. "More than words can express."

In that magical moment, beneath the canopy of stars, Ishqi and Abhimaan sealed their love with a kiss—a promise of forever etched in the tapestry of time.

And as they danced under the moonlight, lost in each other's embrace, they knew that their love would endure, unyielding and everlasting, against all odds.

After their beautiful date, they both headed home. Ishqi was too tired and wanted to sleep. Abhimaan knew that she was tired. " Ishqi, if you want to sleep then sleep. I will hold you." said Abhimaan.

Ishqi looked at him with heavy lashes. She nodded and then kept her head on Abhimaan's biceps. Abhimaan held her using his left arm.

Abhimaan's POV

Jaan was too tired. Soon she slept. I slowed the speed of the car so that she didn't wake up. Slowly and steadily, we reached my palace.

I stopped the car at the gate. Then I slowly picked Jaan in my arms and then walked towards the room, our room.

Once inside our room, I laid Jaan down on the bed, tucking her in with tender affection. She looked so peaceful, her breathing steady and serene, and I couldn't resist brushing a stray lock of hair away from her face, savoring the intimate moment we shared.

Gently, I slipped under the covers beside her, wrapping my arms around her in a protective embrace. The warmth of her body against mine filled me with a sense of completeness, as if every worry and care in the world had faded away in her presence.

As I held Jaan close, I couldn't help but marvel at the depth of my love for her, at the way she had become my anchor in a sea of uncertainty. In her arms, I found solace and strength, a beacon of light guiding me through life's darkest moments.

And as sleep began to claim me, I whispered a silent vow to always cherish and protect Jaan, to be there for her through every joy and sorrow, for as long as we both shall live.

For she was not just my wife, but my soulmate, my partner in every sense of the word, and I would move heaven and earth to ensure her happiness and well-being.

My eyes opened with the water falling on my face. I opened my eyes and saw Ishqi cleaning her wet hair and when she was shaking her hair, the water fell on my face. I smiled.

I saw her open waist in front of me. She looked very beautiful in the blue saree. She dried her hair and then kept the towel on the hanger. She looked at me and then smiled.

" Abhimaan, get up. We have to leave for Banaras," she said to me.

Nodding in response, I slowly pushed myself up from the bed, my gaze never leaving Ishqi's captivating form.

"Of course, Jaan. I'll be ready in just a moment," I replied, my voice filled with warmth and affection.

As Ishqi turned to leave the room, a sudden impulse seized me, compelling me to reach out and pull her into my arms.

"Wait, Ishqi," I murmured, my voice husky with desire. "Before we go, there's something I need to do."

With a tender smile, I leaned forward, capturing her lips in a gentle kiss that spoke volumes of my love and devotion. In that fleeting moment, as our lips met in a sweet embrace, time seemed to stand still, the world around us fading into oblivion as we lost ourselves in the depths of our passion.

Pulling back ever so slightly, I gazed into Ishqi's eyes, my heart overflowing with love. "I love you, Ishqi," I whispered, my voice filled with sincerity. "More than words can ever express."

Ishqi's eyes shimmered with unshed tears, her lips curling into a tender smile. "And I love you, Abhimaan," she whispered in return, her voice barely above a whisper. "With all my heart and soul."

After that kiss, Ishqi went out of the room and went to the washroom. I took a shower and then came out of the washroom. I wore my white kurta and pajama. I remembered that Ishqi said that she likes men in kurta.

After that I came down, I saw her staring at me in shocked. I chuckled.

" What happened?"

" You look sexy. I want to eat you up."

Her reply got a smile on my face. I kissed her forehead and then we walked out. We sat in the jeep and then left for Banaras. She was happy to meet her father.

But there was something else that I had planned for her.
